A community-driven diving club based in Longford Town, County Longford.
County Longford Scuba Divers was founded in June 1989 by 23 divers from across the county. The club was created to bring together people passionate about diving while also providing an essential Search & Recovery service.
Between April and October, we organize weekly day trips to coastal dive sites (weather permitting) and longer bank holiday dive trips in May, June, and August.
One of our club's core missions is to provide a professional, well-trained search and recovery unit for County Longford and beyond.
County Longford Scuba Divers is affiliated with Diving Ireland, the national governing body for recreational underwater sports in Ireland.
This service is entirely voluntary, with members dedicating time, effort, and resources to ensure safe and efficient search operations.
We offer structured training programs designed for beginners and advanced divers.
In October/November we offer Try-A-Dives where anyone can come and explore diving in a safe and guided environment.
